he smiles...
He smiled understandingly—much more than understandingly. It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it…It understood you just as far as you wanted to be understood, believed in you as you would like to believe in yourself…

Nesting
Since Emily and I have plans to get an apartment for the coming school year, I've been gleaning all sorts of design inspiration from various places. I'm trying to stick to a couple of color schemes that are already in play in various items we own.
I'm really loving a rough, antique finish on wood in a teal or aqua color, like this
I'm a huge fan of the green shades too. I can definitely picture these tones with burlap and corduroy textures in the window shades, rugs, and pillows.
I'm also thinking rosy, mauve colors would play well with burlap and green. Yes?
But I can't seem to get the aqua out of my head. Hmm...maybe in my bedroom? I'm loving this bedset from the triple B (Bed, Bath, and Beyond). I think I could bring out the blues in this for some interesting contrast.
All that said, we have 4 months to figure this out. I hope God grants me the gift of decisiveness by then...
